How to Overcome Lust (not for atheists):

The Bible says "He that gets wisdom loves his own soul" and that God "stores up sound wisdom for the upright." When Solomon prayed for wisdom, God was so pleased He gave him wisdom, riches, and long life. James says that if anyone lacks wisdom they should ask God, who gives it "liberally." Those who have wisdom think right, say right, and always do that
which is right. So we should seek wisdom with importunity.

The moment we come to Christ we enter a battle with what the Bible calls "the lust of the flesh and the lust of eyes." Lust blinded David and led him into adultery and murder. It is like a taunting Goliath that won't go away until it feeds your flesh to the birds. But here is the smooth stone that will give you victory. Let every lustful thought become a reminder to pray for wisdom. Let every seductive billboard, every filthy advert, every temptation stir you to seek God for wisdom; to pray: "Lord, Your Word says that I should lift up my voice for understanding, seek her as silver, search for her as for hidden treasures, for You store up sound wisdom for the upright. So I ask for wisdom. Make me wise with my words, my hands, feet, ears, eyes and my thoughts. Give me the wisdom to seek the lost, because 'He that wins souls, is wise.' In Jesus' Name I pray." Be diligent to pray for wisdom at the mere hint to engage a lustful thought, and you will be soon thanking God that each temptation turns a defeat into a victory. It works. It will bring Goliath down. Now get further equipped for battle:

A closing thought:

God has commanded us to Stand against Satan himself, but to flee from Sexual immorality. A sobering thought that flies in the face of all the excuses that are so easy for us to make.

May God bless you today,
Chief
