For the Glory of God in your pain.

Grace and peace to you my friends,

"As he passed by, he saw a man blind from birth. And his disciples asked him, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?” Jesus answered, “It was not that this man sinned, or his parents, but that the works of God might be displayed in him." John 9:1-3 ESV

All of us in this fallen sin cursed world have to deal with physical ailments in some form, either in our own person or through some one close to us. Many people today see this as evidence against there being a loving God out there. However, the passage above show Jesus himself proclaiming the exact opposite of that thought. Some times God allows His children to go through hardship and suffering for the purpose of bringing Him glory as His mercy, grace and love are made known and experienced. As He Himself is the greatest, most valuable thing we can experience and have, no cost is to high a price to pay to bring us into His presence and fellowship. God plainly demonstrated this idea for us all when He willingly sent His innocent Son to the cross for the sins of you and me.

I challenge you today, whatever your hardship may be. Look hard for the shining glory of God in your pain. He is there designing your path and desiring that it bring you strait into His arms of love.

"Father God, forgive me, for allowing my pain and the pain of those around me to drive me farther away from you. Bring me back oh lord into your presence. Open the eyes of my heart and mind to see your loving hands working out your marvelous plans in the suffering and pain that I see and feel today. You alone are the great healer and restorer of our souls. Do whatever it takes mighty God to mold me and make me into the image of your beautiful Son. Allow me Lord to be part of your hands reaching out and loving on the hurting ones around me today. For the glory of Jesus name, Amen."

For the Joy of Your Faith and the Glory of God in Your Pain,
Teagan
