Rejoice in the light of His truth.

Grace and peace to you my friends,

"So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”"John 8:31-32 ESV

If you are a true follower of Jesus you understand His words here. You understand that a true disciple of Jesus Christ will love Gods Word, learn Gods Word and know Gods Word. A true disciple will have a deep desire to continually grow in the love and knowledge of that Word. And all to know the truth and be set free form the slave driving master of sin and death. Yes free indeed because of Christ and His Word.

Friends, meditate on this and let your heart be filled with joy at the thought that the King of the universe saw fit to open your eyes to see the light of His truth. For there are a great many who are stumbling blind in the world still unwitting slaves to their sin speeding head long into the pit of death. Rejoice oh saved ones and be glad that you have seen the light.

"Father God you alone are the only wise God. To you alone be honor and praise. Thank you for your love and grace, that you would open the eyes of a wretch like me to behold your glorious truth. Thank you for Jesus Christ and the freedom that comes form His free gift of life eternal. My heart rejoices Lord at your truth. Help me oh God to learn and grow in your words that I might become a useful tool in your hands for the working out of your will in the lives of those around me. Father it is those lost ones living around me right now that I lift up to you, help me to see them and love them like you do. Not as enemies but as lost souls in need of the same light that you so graciously gave to me. Help me Lord to honor you in my attitude today towards the lost and blind and may you be pleased to shine your light and truth through my broken hands today. In the great and only name of Jesus Christ, Amen."

For the Joy of your Faith and the Light of His Truth,
Teagan
