Grace and peace to you my friends,
" Blessed be the LORD!
For he has heard the voice of my pleas for mercy.
The LORD is my strength and my shield;
in him my heart trusts, and I am helped;
my heart exults,
and with my song I give thanks to him.
The LORD is the strength of his people;
he is the saving refuge of his anointed.
Oh, save your people and bless your heritage!
Be their shepherd and carry them forever."
Psalm 28:6-9 ESV
It's been kind of a rough morning physically and I've been having a hard time focusing on what to try and say for you guys. After staring at the screen here for a while it finally occurred to me that I should stop worrying about what to say and just let the Word of God speak for it self. God is indeed so much greater than my biggest problems could ever be and for that, all I can say is "Blessed be the LORD!" for He is good. I know that He "has heard the voice of my pleas for mercy." Even now as I sit and try to type, His grace is sufficient to get me through. And though my body would cry defeat this early in the day (it's 6:30am) I will confidently say "The LORD is my strength" and " in him my heart trusts". Will you trust in His strength today to cover you and your shortcomings?
Praise Him friends, praise Him in thought, praise Him in deeds and praise Him in song. "The LORD" your God "is the strength of his people", that's you and me friends. He will save and bless His people and "Be their shepherd and carry them forever." Amen, Amen.
Is not the Word of God enough my friends? Hallelujah! Blessed be the Lord and God of your Salvation.
For the Joy of Your Faith,
Teagan
