He spoke, are you speechless?.

Grace and peace to you my friends,

"  Let all the earth fear the LORD;
        let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him!
    For he spoke, and it came to be;
        he commanded, and it stood firm."
Psalm 33:8-9 ESV

Do you have a healthy "fear the LORD"? Does the thought of the power to speak every thing into existence render you speechless?

My friends, whether or not you have a healthy sense of Awe and fear in the Creator God this morning I want to challenge you to deepen your experience. Here's the challenge, step outside and choose a small piece of God's creation to dwell on. Then ask Him to show you His glory and power as it's applied through this small item. For instance, have you ever been awed by His amazing use of dirt? Just a little dirt, a seed and some water and He can make a carrot, that I can pick up and eat or a 300ft tall pine tree. Simplistically, they're both made out of the dirt they grow in, amazing.

We take this stuff for granted all the time but how often do we really allow ourselves to "stand in awe of him".  "Slow down and smell the Roses" today and look for opportunities to be amazed by the great power of Him who, "spoke, and it came to be".
