Make Christmas count this year.

grace and peace to you my friends,


"It is good to give thanks to the Lord,
to sing praises to your name, O Most High;
to declare your steadfast love in the morning,
and your faithfulness by night,
to the music of the lute and the harp,
to the melody of the lyre.
For you, O Lord, have made me glad by your work;
at the works of your hands I sing for joy."

As you and your family prepare for Christmas this season I would like to remind you not to over look the simple joy in singing praises and giving thanks. After all the whole point of the lights, the decorations and the traditions is to help our feeble minds understand and remember the gracious truth of God's love for us demonstrated in the Christmas story.

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16 ESV

Indeed the love of God and the wondrous works of His son Jesus Christ has given us all we need to be joyful and glad this season. So sing and celebrate with real hope as you prepare your hearts and homes for Christmas this year.

May the God of all kindness and love bless your efforts with a true and lasting joy as you pursue Christ this Christmas.
