Blessed are those whose strength is the Lord

Grace and peace to you my friends,

There have been a few of you I know, that like myself have been having a rough stretch lately. It can be hard to get motivated when everything hurts and you just don't "feel like it". But my friends, let us not forget that indeed we are week and incapable of any worth while good on our own. However it is our God who strong and only when His power is working through us that we can achieve any good. So let me remind you that through faith and hope in the promises of God we can accomplish the impossible and some days the impossible may be crawling out of bed to get the day started, getting out of a chair to be helpful or perhaps stepping outside our comfort zone to help a soul in need of grace and love. With God all thing are possible and we can be apart of it when we keep our focus and faith aimed at the glorious face of Jesus Christ and all the promises of God that He represents. As the Apostle Paul said, "For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison," 2 Corinthians 4:17 ESV

Friends, let us pray and ask the Father to give us the grace to grow ever more satisfied in Christ. And for the strength to persevere through the daily hardships and frustration. It is His strength and power we desire and long for. Pray that he would bless the connection to it and make our hearts and His, like a mighty freeway connecting two cities. Just as His name will be blessed forever, the Psalmist tells us that "Blessed are those whose strength is in you, in whose heart are the highways to Zion." Psalm 84:5 ESV

For the Joy of Your Faith and the Hope of His Might,
Teagan
