The Lord my Rock and my Deliverer.

Grace and peace to you my friends,

"   I love you, O LORD, my strength.
The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer,
my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge,
my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
I call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised,
and I am saved from my enemies
."
Psalm 18:1-3 ESV

I have been having some pretty rough mornings this week, making it hard to get up and get going into my day but Praise be to our Great God because this morning has been a pretty good one (relative to all the others this week). What really set this morning apart was this passage here from Psalms. I was struck by these first three verses so I read them over and over. The longer I thought on them the more I just wanted to shout them back to the Lord in praise because this week He has saved me from the the wicked monster of pain and fatigue. No, He hasn't rescued me from experiencing it but He has been "my rock and my fortress" and my "refuge" so that I could endure proudly for Him. He "is worthy to be praised" my friends and because of His grace and love for us we all can be "saved from my [our] enemies".

What's your enemy today, pain, anger, pride, lust, maybe hopelessness or doubt in God? Friends, loved ones, little children of the Most High God, He is faithful and true. Whatever you are facing this morning I want you to know that your God is infinitely bigger than anything you could ever face in this mortal life. I urge you to meditate on this passage with me, read it over and over, think on it until your picture and view of God is so big that your troubles pale in comparison to our great Deliverer, The Mighty Lord GOD.

For the Joy of your Faith and the Hope of The Lord Your Rock,
Teagan
